MEET DR. GARRETT NAVERAN

upper cervical chiropractor

Dr. GARRETT NAVERAN, D.C.

I was born in Reno, Nevada and raised in the small town of Winnemucca just two hours away. I spent my early years playing sports whenever and wherever I could. Many weekends were spent traveling to neighboring towns and states for various football, basketball, and baseball games with my family. I loved the competitive atmosphere and loved being a part of team even more. My time in sports and with my family were my first memories and thoughts of putting others ahead of myself.

My father was a chiropractor in our town as well as the town next to us in which he grew up in. As a kid, I spent a lot of time in his offices and saw first-hand the impact that he had on the people he took care of. He helped many sick people get well and helped others navigate difficult times in their lives. There were numerous occasions while out in public, people would approach him and thank him for the impact that he had on them and their family. It didn’t take many of these interactions for me to make the decision that I wanted to help make that same impact on people’s lives.

After graduating high school, I took my first steps towards this by becoming an EMT then by pursuing a Kinesiology degree at the University of Nevada, Reno. My father passed away during my junior year of college which brought me even closer to my family and hometown. It was there, with the help of a couple of dear family and chiropractic friends that I decided the best way for me to impact as many lives as I could was to go to chiropractic school. I reached out to various chiropractic programs across the country and when I realized I could start going to school before finishing my bachelors, I was stuck with a great but difficult decision. At the time I was a Wildland Firefighter. With the support of my captains, fellow firefighters, family, and friends, I decided it was best to jump on the opportunity and began my chiropractic studies at Life Chiropractic College West in Hayward, California.

I completed my program in June of 2022, where I decided I would best serve others by practicing Upper Cervical Specific Chiropractic care. My love for a team dynamic and the positive atmosphere that this team has to offer made my decision to join forces with The Specific Chiropractic Centers easy. I have been blessed to experience the impact of this work with our amazing team with The Art of The Specific during our outreach trips to Mexico.

I since have made the move to the state of Arkansas to create access to quality upper cervical specific chiropractic care to the community of Hot Springs. Life has been a wild ride and I feel unbelievably blessed to have experienced what I have, met the people that I have, and discovered the true majesty of chiropractic and the human body. I am excited to continue this journey with the people of Arkansas.
